Q. You show black and silver finishes, are these painted? A. No, All finishes are Powdercoat.
Q. The brake pedal seems to run under the floorboard. Will parts there drag when making sharp turns? A.
No, the transfer arm extends only 16MM under the inner footboard floor.
Q. I have a custom lower
body fairing that runs close to the footboard. Will there be enough room for the pedal? A. We cannot
know if the pedal will fit in all applications. We have a refund policy, as posted, if you would like to try.
Q.
What can you tell me about your shifter, how much and will it match the brake? A. Our Advanced Shifter
will be available spring 2008. We will update here when possible. Finishes will match the brake pedal.
Q. Which color finish do you recommend? A. We like black. Especially if you have black finish on motor cases. Most
of the pedal is not visible anyway. Also, black is so easy to touch up that even a caveman can do it. That said, we sell many more in silver finish.
Q. Is this a simple bolt on installation. Must I weld, drill
or cut and make any other irreversible changes to my bike? A. There will never be any welding or drilling needs. On some
models, you may need to add thread to the connecting rod, and we provide for this in our kits. We have not seen any case where
you cannot return to the OEM pedal if you wish. (We have not seen any cases where anyone wanted that either.) An
exception may occur in cases of lower fairings, as delt with in a question above.
